my new salon!
I've never had a hairdresser or a memorable hair cut. This was definitely a great change. I cut off 13+ inches and Lacy was the girl to do it. She was so funny and incredible. I came in not knowing what I wanted and just asked her to cut away and make me feel awesome. She delivered. Not snobby attitudes here, all fun and wonderful women. Drinks served ( I didn't indulge but they were there) fo' free. Can't wait to come back and try something else. This place is a must. Great, great place to do away with yesterday's do's. Peace!

I was really pleased with my experience at Tease!
Margie, the owner of the salon, cut my hair and she gave me exactly what I asked for- an edgier, layered cut. I was late for my appointment and she had another appointment after me, but that didn't stop her from being attentive and taking the time to give me a quality cut. The staff was also super friendly.
Tease is worth it!

They know what they're doing. It's always a good time, just going in there. I've been going there for the past two years and I've never had anything but the absolute best cut and color.....great people, great cuts, great color, cool place.

Lacy is absolutely AMAZING!!!!
I absolutely positively 100% LOVE love love looooooove Tease! I did a lot of research before picking a place to get my hair cut/colored and I am so glad I ended up at Tease. I brought in a picture of what color I wanted my hair to be and she totally delivered. All I said about the cut was - "it's too thick, i need some layers, I like the angles in the front, and I don't want a lot cut off"...it came out perfect. The length was just what I wanted and my hair felt lighter and healthier. When she finished blowing my hair out I just sat there and stared. I've never seen my hair look so good...ever. I felt like a model in one of those hair ads and had the urge to swish my hair from side to side. Haha! No joke. Now all I need is to get Lacy to blow out my hair every morning! :)
PS...also wanted to point out that Tease is so rock 'n roll. I almost walked into a tattoo place for more ink after I left there...and I might try something edgier the next time I go. I totally trust Lacy to hook me up with whatever I want. :)

Margie is the best!
Have been going to Margie for 6 years now. She is the best. I never tell her more than "I want it cleaned up" or "I want to grow it out" -- she does her thing and gives me a great, hip cut -- something just right for my face and hair type -- as well as easy to care for that looks great from the time I walk out of the salon until I come back a couple of months later for a new Doo. And I am admittedly a Styling Dunce -- so it says a lot about her talents!

Great color!
Thanks Margie for a great color time and time again. I have been coloring my hair for years and have tried more salons that I can count. Once I found Margie at Tease, however, I had to look no further. My highlights always come out looking natural and not too brassy. The color lasts and needs very little upkeep. Prices for NYC are reasonable.

I have the BEST HAIR IN NYC!
I really do, Margie at Tease salon can do it all! I am a model and photographers love my hair, I do both editorial and print, I get bookings based on my look alone, a look that Margie created for me. Sometimes I wait for Margie, about 5 minutes, WHILE SHE'S GETTING ME COFFEE!
Wonderful stylists, welcoming atmosphere, good rapport, lots of gossip magazines.

Been going to her for years and she is the best - super sweet and really listens to what you want! I use her for cut and coloring/highlights and she always listens and she has great personal style so I trust her to "do her thing" whenever she wants.

I will forever be a fan!
Margie has been cutting my hair for over 10 years. She cuts all my friends hair too. She is creative, skilled, visionary and such such such a nice person.
I'd say one in every 4-5 cuts is a botch job but mostly b/c I decided to go conservative or she got a bit too creative on me.
But that said, I have hair styles that strangers in the street constantly compliment me on.

Although I don't get my hair cut as often as I should, the few times that I've been to Tease Hair Salon, I've never been disappointed! Margie is awesome! I just tell her, please do something with my hair. I know that's not much direction but she always comes through! Go see Margie.
